BCKC retain their title in the shadows of the Cotswolds!

With Gloucesters tag line of playing korf in the shadow of the Cotswolds we thought we were guarenteed sunshine, instead we got rain and a lot of it. Not to be put of by horizontal rain our hardy team of korfers, including debutants Jen and Mark, set about the task in hand.

We started slowly and had a few pretty low scoring matches along the way but by the afternoon the sun was out and we were getting better and better. The final was a tight match against a handy Gloucester team but BCKC pulled together and ended up winners, retaining the title won last year, which hailed the start of our great 2009/10 season. Let's hope this tees up a similarly successful 2010/11.

Special mention must go to Bryan who most certainly found his shooting boots with some spectacular and really important goals and to Emily for her killer instinct with shots from close range (you know, the ones that we all normally miss by miles!). Also to Mark and Jen for very impressive debuts.
